Jose Garza, CEO of Premier Energy Group, brings over 16 years of expertise in the investment banking sector and European M&A. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, and also an MBA from the university’s Graduate School of Business. Jose started his career in the investment banking sector, working for Merrill Lynch and then Salomon Brothers, where he focused on European M&A. During this period, he has worked on a very broad range of public and private market transactions, including several high-profile ones, and worked his way up to the position of Managing Director M&A of Salomon Brothers for CEEMA. In 2008, he took on the position of Director of M&A for the PPF Group. Joining the EMMA group in 2012, he fulfills the roles of Investment Director and Country Manager for Greece and Romania. Then, in 2021, he became a partner in EMMA Capital.
Petr Stohr, Premier Energy Group\'s CFO and Board Member, brings over 25 years of financial management experience. He holds an MBA from both London Business School and Columbia Business School alongside a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and logistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Petr started his career as an accountant with Arthur Andersen and as an M&A investment banking analyst at Salomon Smith Barney followed by work as an investment associate with Citigroup Private Equity in New York. He eventually became a Vice President with Citigroup Private Equity in the London office where he was a key member of an investment team responsible for managing a global private equity portfolio of over USD 10 billion. In 2010, when Citigroup divested from Citigroup Private Equity, Petr accepted an offer to join the PPF Group in Prague, moving to EMMA Capital as the Director of M&A in 2013 and becoming a partner in 2016. From 2016 to 2020 he held the role of Chief Financial Officer of SAZKA Group (now Allwyn), one of the world’s largest and fastest growing lottery companies, where he was part of a management team that acquired multiple lottery companies and led over €3 billion of financings, including the group’s inaugural €300 million Eurobond indentures, inaugural CZK 6 billion retail bonds traded on the Prague Stock Exchange and numerous multinational bank financings. While Petr has been involved with the Premier Energy Group since 2011, he has been engaged in the day-to-day management of the business since 2020.
Marius Cazan leads the Natural Gas department of Premier Energy Romania since 2014. He has over 20 years of experience in gas supply and distribution management, project management, implementing business solutions for utility companies, and software development. His expertise was acquired through his work at Siveco Romania, and other medium and large-sized companies.
Sorin Bulagea, Head of the Regulatory Department at Premier Energy Romania, joined the Premier Group in 2018 as a Regulatory CEO Adviser. With over 32 years of experience in risk management, energy control, network access regulation, and authorization in the natural gas sector, Sorin brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He has gained extensive experience at the Romanian Gas Regulatory Authority, Distrigaz SUD, and the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority.
Catalina Ionescu, Head of Legal at Premier Energy Romania, brings over 18 years of expertise to the role. Having joined Premier Energy Group in 2012, she has extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, energy, regulatory affairs, corporate governance, and insolvency. Catalina built her strong background in various industries (from media to gambling), demonstrating her commitment to excellence in the legal field.
Mihai Velicu, Chief Financial Officer at Premier Energy Romania, brings over 15 years of diverse finance experience to the role. With a background that includes leadership positions at Deloitte and Amromco Energy, Mihai has managed teams and businesses across different regions and working scenarios. He joined Premier Energy in 2021 and also serves as a board member at Alive Capital, showcasing his strong leadership and financial acumen.
Giacomo Billi is the Head of Renewables Division and CEO of Alive Capital, overseeing asset management and electricity trading and supply. With a background in economics and renewable energy, he has held key positions in notable companies in Italy and the UK. Giacomo holds licenses in Business and Banking and an MBA from Luiss Business School. Proficient in Romanian, English, and Italian, he brings a wealth of expertise to Alive Capital.
Lorena Voicu joined the Group in March 2022, as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Alive Capital S.A. with financial responsibilities for all renewables of the Group in Romania. Prior to her current position, she worked for KPMG as an Audit Director coordinating audits for companies from the Romanian Energy Sector and for Ernst & Young as Audit Senior Manager coordinating audits for companies spanning across numerous industries with a particular focus on the Power & Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors. She graduated from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of Accounting and Information Systems, she is an ACCA Fellow (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) since 2011 and an ASPAAS member (Authority for the Public Oversight of the Activity of the Statutory Audit) since 2019 with a professional experience of over 16 years in Big 4 companies.
Vlad Piraianu joined Alive Capital’s Team in 2021. Graduating in 2007 from the Faculty of Energy at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, specializing in Hydropower, he holds a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering and is a university professor. With experience in developing, executing, and operating projects for renewable electricity production, Vlad coordinates the electricity production activity within Alive Capital.

Tatiana Gotisan, Director of Regulations, Tariffs, and Energy Purchases at Premier Energy Moldova, brings extensive experience from her tenure at Red Union Fenosa and Gas Natural Fenosa. With a background in regulatory affairs and revenue planning, Tatiana has played a crucial role in collaborating with state authorities and overseeing the electricity purchase process since joining Premier Energy Moldova.
Ion Munteanu, Chief Financial Officer at Premier Energy Moldova, brings a wealth of experience from academia to government service and corporate finance. With a background in economics and extensive leadership roles in academia and government, including as Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Reforms, Ion transitioned to the corporate sector in 2000. Since 2019, he has served as CFO at Premier Energy Moldova, overseeing financial operations.
